Portside has taught me so much in the past 7 months. I found a strength in myself that I never knew I had. I find drive and determination that has kept me going! More than anything, it has given me confidence that I was lacking!
Exercising was also so boring and miserable for me. I tried many times to get into a routine but it quickly faded. With Portside, I am constantly challenged and encouraged. Many people that know me well have said, “I can’t believe you are still working out!” My response is always, “me either!” I truly enjoy meeting new people now and I look forward to seeing my Portside friends.
I think I do really well with front squats and I hope to be able to eventually do a pull up! It’s incredible to see your body transition and your strength increase! I couldn’t even do a real push up in the beginning of my Portside experience!

I came to Portside about a year ago when my wife and I moved back from the coast. I had gone to another crossfit gym before, and I really liked the group workout atmosphere. Sara and her staff were very welcoming, and the camaraderie between the coaches and athletes was evident immediately. I’ve met a lot of really great people and I truly enjoy working out (most) every day. Portside is a great place to work out with great people. You won’t regret joining
